This is a demo for the "Monster Engine" - a game engine. This demo shows a desert-like landscape and was made for the olcCodeJam 2020. The engine is writted in C# and uses the library "OpenTK".

We tought that the theme for the jam "The Great Machine" could be represented by a game engine too. So we decided to show a working prototype of our engine.

It's a tech demo!

The "F" key to switch to full screen is nevertheless hazardous.
It is however quite a shame that the skybox is not available. In the engine folder, I see the possibility of having light too! Why is such not implemented?
The canyon image at a color depth of 48 ... =o
And water4096 to 24. But do you know that if you are looking to optimize, it would be good to change this by keeping only certain colors. It won't impact the detailing if you do it right and then save space. After that I don't know exactly what you are trying to search and / or demonstrate.

The texture of the light you found are used as icons in the debug/developer version of the engine. And aren't used in the release version. The purpose of this demo is to show the capabilities of the engine thus far, so yes, it won't be as fleshed out as a project by other people. Next time, I promise, it will be better. :D
